Jenny Price is a British contemporary painter who lives and works in London.

Jenny takes stories and feelings and translates them into abstracted landscapes and themes, such as Brilliant Women and Order and Chaos.

The Process

My paintings have a loose weave incorporated to enhance mood, feeling and texture. Weave and yarn have a tactile and flowing quality, suggesting flux, and movement. The yarns, loosely woven on my loom, include silks, linens and synthetics.

The artist

Jenny trained in weave and printmaking at Camberwell Art School and later gained an MA in Art psychotherapy. She has worked in France and the UK for 30 years and sold to collectors in the US, Europe and the UK. She is interested in experimenting with different processes to create original and emotive work.
